"Angel" at 8 wks -- born Nov, 2007 "Angel" at 3 months "Angel" at 8 months
We got our precious “Angel” from Southwest Labradors Jan '08. She has lived up to her name in every way! She was extremely easy to potty train, and obedience training was so natural for her. Angel is the kind of dog who always wants to please and will do anything just for a pet on the head. She was even an angel on the 15 hour trip from Texas to California. I would suggest Southwest Labradors to any person wanting a family dog. Lori has a special way of making her puppies feel cared for and loved. She has an excellent talent for matching the right puppy to the right person. Any puppy from Lori will be the most wonderful four-legged addition to your family.

Hi Lori,
It's been almost a year since Veronica and I had adopted Gavin and Taggart...They are both very happy puppies. We moved out of the apartment and into a house with a huge backyard and they are even now happier...Gavin is the insitgator and gets Taggart into trouble all the time. They are very much people dogs, and love other people and other dogs...Both of the boys sleep with us every night and neither are very far from us wherever we are in the apartment. Though Gavin is much more outgoing, and quiet where Taggart is much more vocal when it comes to letting us know he wants something. They love out long morning walks...Ohh and Gavin thinks he is a cat, and loves to climb up on the back of the couch and stretch around you like a fur coat...where Taggart has to cuddle in right next too you... They are very loveable!!!!They are the best dogs we could ever ask for, and I just wanted you know they were doing great!!! Congrats on the new litter.

We couldn’t be happier with our chocolate lab Riley,
and she has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Lori was great throughout the whole process, from
the time we first contacted her until Riley finally got
to us at the airport. The shipping process went very
smoothly and she seemed to be very well cared for.
You would never have known that our new puppy had
just been on an airplane. She was so excited to finally
be home with her new family. The Starter Pack that
Lori includes is very helpful and has almost everything
you need for your new puppy. Lori made sure we got
it before Riley arrived so we would have everything ready
for her. We highly recommend Southwest Labradors
to anyone who is looking for a new lab puppy.

Lori,
I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with Maya. She is such a fast learner and now knows about 10 different commands including commands given in sign language. We came from Albuquerque to get her and boy was it worth the drive. On the way back she slept and never once whined. She only had a couple of accidents in the house and got used to the crate so fast; she started sleeping through the night after a week or so.
I have trained Maya myself and soon Maya will be tested for the AKC's Canine Good Citizen program. Maya is great off leash and a great hiking/running partner. She has a calm and goofy personality and loves people.
At her first check up, my vet commented on how well she looked and had been brought up. Her coat to this day is so shiny it amazes everyone.
This summer we took her to Colorado and it was amazing how well she adapted. Plus we found out she loves the snow!!
And so my family and I would like to thank Southwest Labradors for doing such a wonderful job and have no problem recommending them to friends who are looking for a well bred labrador.
And being an Assistance Dog Trainer myself, I would like to say that if you are looking for a smart, well-tempered, easy to train, and overall AWESOME companion, then SOUTHWEST LABRADORS is the way to go.
Thanks again, Lori

"Bayley" 10 months old, born 2007
Since we got Bayley 3 weeks ago, we have been amazed at how easy she has been to train and how much fun she is. After introducing her to the crate
the first night, she complained for about an hour and then went to sleep. The second night was about 10 minutes, and since then she has been ready to
go down at 10:00 and sleeps till 5 or 6 in the morning, without any "accidents" in her crate!
As far as housebreaking, again we have been totally blown away that she has been so easy to train. The first weekend we took her out several times a
day and showed her where to "go". That was all it took as now she always goes to the door and sits when the need arises! It’s hard to believe that
it was that easy as I have had other dogs that took MUCH longer to get it.
The day after we got her, we started her in obedience class. Each Saturday we go to class with her and she performs the behaviors like she has been doing them for years. (She does require little naps during class, since she is in the regular obedience class, not puppy school!)
We are so happy that we found Southwest Labradors. Let us know when the next litter comes around next year as we have friends and co-workers that are equally amazed with Bayley. We attribute all of these great traits to the love, affection and attention that she received before she came into our lives. Also good Sneeze and Hiccup genes! -Beth
Lori --
I'm just thrilled to have my choc lab, Carlos! He's totally awesome. I've been applying the Dog Whisperer approach and that is working just great! When I'm not traveling, we walk 3 miles per day or 20 miles per week. We're both very happy.
I'll attach a picture or two. All my family and friends are happy we have our new puppy. Carlos is very happy and balanced!
Thx Lori!

Hello Again,
I wanted to let you know how much we love Carlos and how he is a great addition to our family. You would not believe how it has changed our family for the better. He has brought life into our home. We are so fortunate to have crossed paths with a great dog and a great breeder. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Lori,
We are so pleased with our black lab, Murphy. He is such a great family pet and is loved so much. Living down at the beach, we go to the pier every day and take our walks. He is so wonderful with my two boys and having Murphy in our home is a blessing. Thank you again for everything.
Sincerely,
Kina H.

When I was looking to purchase my dog I looked through all the local papers and having no luck we searched online. Luckily, I found Lori’s website. Her site was one of the very few that actually had current pictures of the pups. Contacting Lori was always very easy. E-mails were always answered promptly. I appreciated her concern about the living conditions the dog would be in -- this was no "Sure! Come on down and take one home." She wanted to be sure the dog was going to be well cared for. In Lori’s home, the puppies had plenty of human contact; both of the puppy's parents are on the premises. I had to wait for the eight long weeks before being able to take the puppy home. During that time Lori’s door was always open for visits. All she ever asked for was a phone call before coming. Because of the way the puppies were kept, they had a basic concept of potty training. When I brought my dog home, I kept him in a crate and, without exaggeration, had him trained to relieve himself outdoors within 2 weeks. Keep in mind your mileage may vary, but in this first year he’s only had 7 accidents indoors. Lori provided us with vet papers, pictures, collar, toys, and a towel with mother's scent on it. To top it off, the price was right, too. I would have no trouble whatsoever referring anyone who is interested in a Lab to purchase one from Lori, but I already have the best one! Greg,

They surpassed all our expectations. We were completely satisfied with the service they provided and they continued to go above and beyond what is expected after the sale. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were happy to offer advise. The parents of our puppy were in good shape when we picked him up and the starter pack was more than sufficient to get us through the first couple of weeks. You will not find a better group of breeders offering a better quality of puppies for a lower price. When a litter is raised because of the love of dogs and not for the money, the result is a better puppy and genuine bliss.
